Chapter 40

In chapter 40 of “A Court of Mist and Fury,” Feyre attends the High Lord’s formal dinner. Feyre, who is no longer a human, is wearing a gorgeous outfit made from the Night Court’s magic. She catches the attention of many guests, including the mortal queens. While talking to Lucien, Feyre learns that Tamlin has sent Ianthe, the priestess, to spy on her. Later, Feyre dances with Rhysand and the two discuss the upcoming war. They also discuss Feyre’s power as High Fae and how Rhysand can help her to control it. During the dance, Feyre realizes that she is falling in love with Rhysand, but the music ends, and Rhysand leaves Feyre to her own devices.

Chapter 41

In Chapter 41 of A Court of Mist and Fury, Feyre’s sisters Elain and Nesta are brought to the Night Court by Lucien. Feyre reunites with them and they explain that they were sent to live with their distant cousin after Amarantha attacked their village. They also reveal that they have been having strange, prophetic dreams. Feyre and Rhysand help Elain and Nesta adjust to their new surroundings, and Feyre discovers that Nesta possesses some magical abilities. However, their reunion is cut short when King Hybern arrives at the Night Court, demanding that Rhysand hand over Feyre and her sisters. Rhysand refuses, and a battle ensues. During the fight, Feyre uses her powers to defeat Hybern’s forces, and they can escape with the help of Amren. However, they know that the threat of war is far from over.

Chapter 42

In chapter 42 of “A Court of Mist and Fury” by Sarah J. Maas, Feyre wakes up after spending a week in a coma. Rhysand and the Inner Circle tell her about the plans they have made to stop the war, including using the human queens as a distraction. Chapter 50

In chapter 50 of “A Court of Mist and Fury,” Feyre and Rhysand continue to train and strengthen Feyre’s powers in preparation for the upcoming war. Feyre and Lucien encounter a monster along the way, but the canto defeats it with the help of a mysterious warrior named Azriel. Feyre is left wondering about Azriel’s true identity and why he seems so familiar to her.

Chapter 51

In chapter 51 of “A Court of Mist and Fury,” Feyre and Rhys return to Velaris after a few days spent in the Illyrian war camps. Feyre notices the darkness that has spread throughout the city and the people who have become fearful and paranoid. She meets with her friends who inform her that they have started a resistance against Hybern and that they need her help. Feyre agrees to join them and use her newfound powers to help fight the coming war. She also asks Mor to tell her the truth about her sexual orientation and learns that Mor is attracted to women, including Feyre’s sister Nesta.

Chapter 55

In chapter 55 of “A Court of Mist and Fury,” Feyre and Rhysand travel to the Summer Court to seek allies against Hybern. There, Feyre sees Tamlin, who is desperate to get her back. Feyre’s anger at Tamlin and Ianthe boils over and she reveals that she was never under Amarantha’s spell and that Tamlin was the one who made a deal with Hybern. Tamlin is stunned and tries to plead with Feyre, but she and Rhysand leave the Summer Court. The chapter ends with Rhysand admitting that he has loved Feyre since she was human and that he will do anything to keep her safe.
